About

The Film & Television Research Group at Queen’s Law offers an overview of Canadian law for individuals working in the film, television, and theatre industry who want to understand their legal rights and obligations as professionals. We know how technical legal language, procedures, and practices can be, and we are here to provide a simple and clear overview of your legal rights and obligations in the following areas: copyright, branding and trademarks, business, and health and safety obligations.

We are proud to be students at the Queen’s University Faculty of Law, and part of the Pro Bono Students Canada (PBSC): Queen’s Law Chapter.
